Kayla Beuby is a Counseling Center Social Worker in the University of Michigan-Flint's Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) office. She holds both a BSW and MSW degree as well as a Graduate Certificate in Business. Kayla was previously the Life Skills Coach/Program Manager for the Mpowering My Success program at the University of Michigan-Flint where she learned and utilized the Fostering Success Coaching Model regularly. Kayla has completed both the Level I and Level II Fostering Success Coach Trainings. Now, as Fostering Success Coach Trainer, she hopes to continue to spread awareness of the unique strengths and challenges of our students who have experienced foster care while providing a fun, interactive, and collaborative learning environment during her trainings. Much of her prior professional, educational, and research experiences have focused on the needs of and how to provide the best support to young people who have experienced foster care.
