Amal Mohamed is a Seita Alum and joined the Seita Scholars Program at Western Michigan University in 2021 as a Campus Coach. Her graduate studies were in Clinical Social Work with a specialization in Trauma Across the Life Span. After graduation, she provided therapy for children at a community mental health center in Wayne County. She then moved into private practice serving a diverse population of individuals in East Michigan. In addition to private practice, she worked as a Crisis Counselor where she provided crisis intervention, assessment, and access to services for Mental Health nationally until her transition to Seita.
