About the event
Integrating Adolescent Brain Development into Child Welfare Practice with Older Youth is a curriculum that has been created by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) for training child welfare workers. The Fostering Success Coaching Institute is offering this training to support coaches and youth workers who would like to better understand and integrate emerging science about the brain into their work with youth from foster care. This training is appropriate for any individual who is currently or hopes to work with young people who have experienced adversity, foster care, or disruptions in social connections due to system involvement.
This training will consist of six 2-hour virtual sessions from 10am-12pm ET/9-11am CT all on Fridays starting on November 3rd and ending on December 13th.
