Farra Fong is an Associate Trainer. Farra Fong, LMSW, currently serves as the Director of Evaluation and Training for NMCAN, an Albuquerque-based nonprofit that partners with young people to build community, promote equity, and lead change. In this position she is responsible for developing the organization’s performance management process, leading its professional development and training plan, and evaluating its impact on outcomes. She began her career in New York with Project Morry, a nationally recognized youth development organization. This experience proved to be the catalyst for her desire and commitment to create programs that authentically partner with young people to actualize their goals and dreams. Farra has more than 17 years of experience within the field of child welfare in New Mexico, much of which has been spent working with young people to develop and implement programs that support the transition from foster care to adulthood and within the Tribal foster care systems.
